Our Services
Electrical Testing & Inspection (EICR)
What we test: our EICR service combines a visual inspection with proven electrical tests to identify danger and deterioration. Tests include continuity of protective conductors, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance and RCD trip testing. We inspect consumer units, bonding, switchgear, sockets, lighting circuits and fixed appliances to produce a clear picture of circuit condition and safety.
Reports and remedials: every inspection is followed by a written EICR with coded observations and priority grading. Where remedial work is needed, Sean will supply a practical, fixed‑price quote and can carry out repairs to bring the installation up to standard, followed by retesting and certification once works are complete.
Our Process
How It Works
1. Arrange & Survey
Call or email to book a convenient appointment. Sean confirms scope — domestic, commercial or industrial — and notes access or health & safety requirements.
2. Testing On‑Site
We carry out visual inspections and electrical tests (continuity, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance and RCD operation) using calibrated kit and BS 7671 procedures.
3. Report & Remedial Plan
A detailed EICR report is issued with coded observations, priority grades and a fixed-price quote for any remedial works. Certification and retest arranged once repairs complete.
